What do you need?

  • Large round vase

  • White decorative stones

  • 2 bunches of tulips

  • Knife

  • Asparagus
Have fun!
  1. Clean the stones with water. They can have dirt on them, and you don’t want that in the vase.

  2. Put the cleaned stones at the bottom of the vase. Make sure there are about 2 layers of stones in the vase so they are clearly visible. Then the vase can be filled with a good layer of water. Tulips drink a lot, so keep an eye on them every day.

  3. Cut a small piece from the bottom of the tulips with the knife.

  4. Put the tulips in the vase one by one. Vary the length a little bit to create a playful effect. Work from the outside in. This way, the tulips keep each other upright.

  5. Finally you can put some green in between. In this case, for a playful effect, asparagus.

Alternative: Also nice to use coloured stones or to put plastic Easter eggs between the stones during Easter.

Good luck and have fun decorating your tulip vase!
